She is famous for having written passionate ''Love Letters'' to a knight named Axel Nilsson in 1498. Ingrid Persdotter was the daughter of the mayor of the city of Vadstena, Petri (Per) Jönsson.〔Wilhelmina Stålberg & P. G.
